Why did you include the PU lamination?
The thin layer of breathable PU lamination was added for parents who co-sleep, as well as anyone else who requires their mattress protector to have a waterproof layer. We use these products ourselves, and several members of our team have young children, which makes the waterproof element of this product attractive.
Does the protector encase the entire mattress?
No. We prefer protectors that are easier to add to the mattress. This protector goes over the top of the mattress like a sheet set would. It's fast and easy to setup, and can be added with only one adult.
